Ramblings In My Head

--After a few days away, I had to get in some lovin' from my boys. Excuse the crazy hair, crooked tank top and lack of makeup, I had a rough day/night of traveling. The boys didn't seem to mind that I was a complete wreck...they just wanted some love!

--Today when I went into work, I had a pleasant surprise. The Board of Directors pulled together and made a donation to the Council in memory of Grandma Conway. It was very sweet and thoughtful. It's nice to know that all the people I work with are so nice and supportive during difficult times.

--I was able to buy one of the last Bakersfield ornaments today. This is the first year that 600 collector's ornaments were made with a historical building handpainted on the ornament. The Bakersfield Inn with the famous Bakersfield sign was the theme for this years ornament. I'm so glad that I was able to find the ornament...I LOVE IT!

--After a short 24 hour stay at home, Jason boarded a plane early this morning for two more interviews. He's in Salt Lake City until Wednesday and then he's headed to Brooklyn. This interviewing stuff is for the birds. I miss him so much, especially with Christmas getting so close.

--We have flights to go home for Christmas, as well as a few interviews around the Midwest. Today we got some unexpected news and we aren't sure if we will be able to go back to Missouri. We will hopefully find out more details on Friday but until then I'm going to be a ball of stress. I've been counting down the days until our trip and I just hope that everything works out.

--The Christmas party at work is Thursday. I'm so excited to have our gift exchange and our holiday luncheon. It was so much fun putting together a gift for Donna and Lisa...I hope they enjoy everything! Pictures to come of our fun filled Christmas party.
