Well not only is she coming to spend time with us but we will be attending the 2011 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena. We really wanted to go last year but we chickened out at the last minute. Over 1 million packed onto Colorado Blvd. to watch the Rose Parade intimidated us in our first months here in California. Well since our Missouri plans changed and we'll be in California for the new year, we decided to go to the Rose Parade this year. I'm so excited that we'll be able to attend the parade with my mom. 
This will be our last Christmas in California so we are wanting to make the most of it. It doesn't get much better than Christmas with the in-laws and New Years with my mom. We're so fortunate because we are getting to enjoy a bit of both worlds.
5 Days Until Christmas, 9 Days Until Mom Arrives and 12 Days Until The Rose Parade!!!

We're thinking about going too! I have lived in CA for 30 yrs and never have gone!
