We're Back!

• We made it back to Missouri...safe and sound. We left our apartment earlier than we needed to on Friday because we didn't know how traffic would be with the Royal wedding. We didn't hit one bit of traffic so we were at the airport about four hours before our flight. I didn't mind though because we got a front row seat in front of an airport TV to watch the live wedding. The whole airport was pretty much at a stand still when the wedding started!

• The whole country is having some sort of severe weather. Missouri is getting huge amounts of rain right now...rivers are flooding, levees are breaking and severe damage is being done. My mom's basement flooded so we had to soak up as much water as we could from the carpet and then cut and rip the carpet out before serious damage was done. The basement looks so pitiful but at least it doesn't have wet, moldy carpet!
• We were doing a little research on mortgage loans and we found some special loans that are offered to residents. We already have an apartment on hold but we are making some phone calls to some lenders that deal specifically with residents in the medical field. Exciting stuff!
  
• We have three weeks until we head to the island for Jason's graduation. Everyone is getting so excited for some sand and sun. It's going to be so much fun to go back to the island and catch up with all our friends!
