Welcome To Our Family Rosie/Gaston

The morning after we lost Cooper, we were all pretty devastated. I got a text message from a friend:
three baby kittens in a dumpster.

I definitely didn't want a new kitten, especially so soon, but the kids were hoping that we could add a new kitten to our family. Jason encouraged us to go and get one so I agreed that it might be good BUT I didn't want the kitten that looked like Cooper. Once we got there, the kitten that looked like Cooper was the one that was going to be the best for our family. So sweet, calm and it's didn't hiss and act crazy when I picked it up. We are pretty sure that this little one is Cooper's sibling!
I jumped in the dumpster, rescued all three of the kittens and then loaded up this blue-eyed beauty.
We kept the kitten in the garage for the first day and really just tried to shower it (we aren't sure if it's a boy or a girl) with love and food. It also got a flea bath!
If it's a girl, we are naming her Rosie. If it's a boy, we are naming him Gaston. The kids got to pick them out, if you didn't know! HA!
The kitten is so stinkin' sweet that it takes away the sting of losing Cooper a little bit.
We are all crazy about our little one. It's first appointment is Monday so we'll find a few more details and we'll be able to name it!
We're completely smitten with our little dumpster kitty.
